“Darla has been a commercial photographer and creative director for more than 30 years. She specializes in commercial photography, design, wedding, event, and portrait photography.

Darla’s photographs have been published in national fashion publications such as Vogue. The editors of Modern Bride Maryland and Modern Bride Washington, chose Darla’s wedding photographs for “The Parting Shot”, in both current issues, 2003-2004 and 2002-2003. Other publications such as the “Journal Newspaper” and “Pittsburgh Magazine” have carried articles about the firm.

Darla has recently been a guest speaker on the subject of weddings and wedding photography on Premier Brides “The wedding show”, a talk radio show on WJFK, in Washington, D.C. Other speaking engagements include the University of maryland and Food and Drug Administration on the subject of photography and design for commercial use. She will be teaching a class at the Smithsonian National Zoological park on black and white photography this autumn.
